Loose Change Debut Album Release

LOOSE CHANGE DEBUT ALBUM RELEASE

After two years of preparing, playing and recording, Loose change has finally finished their official debut album! Releasing in december, they are excited to start playing it live, make sure you hear it!

Loose Change have officially released their debut album for the public to purchase and hear! This self-titled album features the band's chosen seven original tracks; "Can't Stop Thinking (About You)," "Not Alone," "We Will Overcome," "Nameless," "Don't Wake Me If I'm Dreaming," "Rain" and "Can't Stop Thinking (About You) [Acoustic]." All of these tracks were recorded from scratch at The Attic Sounds on Ilderton Road in South Bermondsey with Dave Mountain. The recording process took nearly eight months, but the out come was worth the time and effort that was put in. After having recorded the tracks, the long process of mixing and adding the finishing touches started, during this time, Charlie Fowler was also in the studio with Dave and the band to help mix the tracks. Also during this time, the design for the album was started. Loose Change had two photo shoots on the roof of their studio in Hammersmith, overlooking Hammersmith Bridge and the River Thames. The photography was done by Milo Brown and his brother Finbar BrownThese photos were then used in the design of Loose Change's online PR and album cover and insert design by Angus McCabe. After a draft for the album cover, inlay, insert and CD had been made, a prototype was sent to Tribal Manufacturing in Balham Hill. Gregory Bell at Tribal then helped us turn the prototype into a finished product. At the bottom of this story you can see the final designs that were used for the album.

Once the recording had finished at The Attic Sounds with Dave, Tribal Manufacturing only had a month left until the CD's would need to be printed. After sending them one copy of the CD, 1000 printed, sealed and boxed CD's arrived at the Studio only a few days later!

Loose Change Gig at Westfield London

LOOSE CHANGE GIG AT WESTFIELD LONDON

Loose Change have been invited to play on the main stage at Westfield White City this christmas! Having just released their debut album, this is a big step for Loose Change and you should be there to experience it with them. The stage is in the Atrium over the ice rink. All entry is free! Bring your friends and family!

On the 21st December 2013, Loose Change played Westfield London Shopping Centre W12. They received the opportunity to play on the atrium stage that christmas, through Westfield Presents; a company that associates with Westfield, giving unsigned artists and bands the opportunity to play live and get some publicity. Loose Change were given half and hour on stage and managed to race through their first prepared setlist. They played all of their original tracks from their new debut album, as well as a cover of the Foo Fighter's "Everlong", a mashup of The White Stripes' "Seven Nation Army" and Blur's "Song 2." They then finished with a punk rock rendition of the popular christmas tune; "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town."

The performance itself went well, here was a lot of energy on stage and the audience grew to over 200 people. Small camera and phone footage was compiled into a small montage video that can be found on our Youtube Channel or Facebook Page or watch it now below:

After the gig, the band went backstage to Westfield's "Green Room," popped a bottle and celebrated. They felt ready for anything and couldn't wait for the next gig!
